When Yoshiko learned about Zen Breathing in 2013, it was by complete chance. She had been searching for an effective way to relieve stress, and was inspired to try Zen Breathing after reading Yuki Shiina's book. In the past, Yoshiko always assumed that she had no physical issues. But after trying Zen Breathing for the first time, Yoshiko realised that her breath was shallow, and her body wasn’t as fit as she thought it was. Yoshiko became inspired to share the method with more people, and in 2014 she became the first Zen Breathing consultant in the Kyushu region.
