Since she was a child, Itsuko suffered from asthma and always found breathing difficult. Her condition had a big impact on her mental health, as she became anxious about things that would trigger her asthma, such as dust or the cold air in winter. It was only through Zen Breathing that Itsuko was able to improve her lifestyle. She began to focus on breathing out, and although it may sound obvious, it helped improve her asthma in a way that medication or injections never did. Beyond the physical benefits, Zen Breathing has also allowed Itsuko to feel calmer. As an advisor, she hopes to share her experience, and also encourage others to love themselves.
